I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback on my experience working with Kathy, as I was transitioning from another coach. It could have been challenging, but Kathy made it feel seamless from the very beginning.
Throughout our time together, Kathy helped me navigate several complex situations in my workplace. Rather than simply telling me what to do, she asked thoughtful questions, challenged my thinking, and helped me work through each situation in a way that felt authentic to me. Those conversations not only helped me address the issues at hand but also strengthened my confidence in my own judgment.
As a result of our work, I found myself becoming a better peer, a more effective leader, and more comfortable trusting my instincts. Kathy consistently reinforced the importance of staying true to who I am as a leader instead of trying to emulate someone else’s style.
I joked with Kathy that I was going to get a “What Would KP Do?” bracelet to remind me of our coaching conversations. In reality, the bracelet should say, “What Would MS Do?” because that’s exactly what Kathy encouraged me to ask. Her coaching wasn’t about creating a dependence on her advice, it was about helping me trust myself and lead with authenticity.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Kathy and the positive impact she had on my professional growth.
