Yesterday I was shopping at Target and a book caught my eye.

It’s Michelle Obama’s new book “The Light We Carry”.

It jumped out at me – and so I bought it!

Impulse buy, yes; and how could I not?

I’m seeing “light” all around me! In so many different ways…

You may not be aware, but in my PQ Mastery Circle I have chosen my personal 6-month Quest to progress in these 6 months.
My Quest: “Simplify my life so that I live in the light, calling forth my richest and fullest life each day as I walk in freedom.”

As they say, “the signs are all around us”.

Below is what the back jacket says:

“I’ve Learned it’s okay to recognize that self-worth comes wrapped in vulnerability, and that what we share as humans on this earth is the impulse to strive for better, always and no matter what. We become bolder in brightness. If you know your light, you know yourself. You know your own story in an honest way. In my experience, this type of self-knowledge builds confidence, which in turn breeds calmness and an ability to maintain perspective, which leads, finally, to being able to connect meaningfully with others – and this to me is the bedrock of all things. One light feeds another. One strong family lends strength to more. One engaged community can ignite those around it. This the power of the light we carry.”
-Michelle Obama

Today, let’s talk about the light that you carry, the light that shines in you.
