There are moments when something feels unsettled, even if you can’t immediately explain why.

A conversation leaves you feeling uneasy.

A decision feels heavier than expected.

A frustration keeps resurfacing.

It can be tempting to dismiss those moments, especially when life is busy.

But often, those feelings are carrying useful information.

Sometimes they point to a value that matters deeply to you.

A boundary that feels crossed.

A situation that no longer feels aligned.

Not every uncomfortable feeling means immediate action is required.

But it may be asking for awareness.

One of the most helpful questions we can ask ourselves is:

“What is this feeling trying to show me?”

That question shifts us out of reaction and into reflection.

Instead of suppressing the emotion or judging ourselves for having it, we become curious.

  • What matters to me here?
  • What feels out of alignment?
  • What may need my attention?

This kind of awareness helps us make decisions with more integrity and clarity.

Because when we understand what matters most to us, we tend to move forward more intentionally.

If something has felt “off” lately, it may be worth pausing long enough to listen.

Not every feeling needs to be fixed.

But some deserve to be understood.
